Artist's Description
This piece is very personal to me as it is the first piece I painted after having to let my dear pup, Jake, go after almost 14 years of companionship. It expresses the intense layers of grief, happy memories, etc.

For me, painting is about imagination. I'm continually fascinated by the way the colors mix and flow together to create interesting effects on the canvas. My hope is for you to feel something when you look at each painting. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy making it. All my paintings are acrylic on canvas, finished on all edges and coated with a high-quality varnish to protect against UV light damage and ensure color stability.
