This piece is very personal to me as it is the first piece I painted after having to let my dear pup, Jake, go after almost 14 years of companionship. It expresses the intense layers of grief, happy memories, etc.

For me, painting is about imagination. I'm continually fascinated by the way the colors mix and flow together to create interesting effects on the canvas.
