I was born on the Texas coast, raised in Southern California, and spent many years in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am now back in Southern California and enjoying life with my family, friends, and of course my dogs.

I spent most of my life in the business world, but have always been involved in the arts in some form. After years of urging from my family and friends, I decided to share my passion for others to enjoy.

For me, painting is about imagination. More often than not, the idea I sit down to express on canvas isn't what is ultimately reflected in the finished piece. I usually just let myself go and see what happens. My goal with the art is to have the viewer feel something: happy, sad, calm, anxious or even angry. If I can get that response, then I have succeeded. I am still amazed at what different people see when they look at each piece.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.

All my paintings are acrylic on canvas. They are finished on all edges so framing is not necessary; however, they are suitable for framing if desired. They are coated with a high quality acrylic varnish to protect against UV light damage and ensure color stability. All pieces are available for sale unless otherwise noted. I am available for commissioned work as well. If you have something in mind, please let me know. Although I try to accurately represent the feel and color of each piece, please understand that due to picture limitations they may vary slightly from the original.
